The long-term wildflower timing dataset collected by Meadowatch volunteers is crucial in advancing our understanding of how climate change is impacting our planet and the plants that surround us. Please consider making a gift to the MeadoWatch program to support critical ecological research as well as an engaged citizen science community.
Gifts to MeadoWatch are optional, and are never a requirement of participation in our program. We run MeadoWatch on a shoestring budget, but each year we need funds to pay a wonderful UW student worker for the summer field season, to cover multiple trips from UW to Mt. Rainier National Park, to purchase essential materials and supplies, and to support the research infrastructure (planning, training, data entry and management) that makes MeadoWatch tick, especially before and after each summer wildflower season.
