MeadoWatch 2019 - Reflection Lakes Hike

The Reflection Lakes Trail
The trail starts at the Reflection Lakes parking lot and proceeds up the mountain to via the Wonderland, High Lakes and Paradise trails, covering roughly 3 miles (one way) and climbing 1,300 feet in elevation. There are 11 plots to monitor.  Please contact mwatch@uw.edu if you need camping spaces at the Longmire Campground (ideally 2 weeks prior to your hiking dates).

Important Safety Information
Please stay safe on the trails by following the MeadoWatch Safety Guidelines. In particular, if you are planning to hike solo while collecting data for MeadoWatch, we recommend that you check in and out with an emergency contact.

For more information about the hike:
See our Reflection Lakes pamphlet.
Check out our interactive Google map for both hikes here.

Please note: there may still be snow covering some portion of the trail for earlier hike dates, which will also affect whether trail markers are placed.  However, your data are still really important, and we will keep you up to date on snow conditions throughout the season. Please remember to sign up for our email list  to receive these updates.
